TPC River Highlands’ first
par 3 is long and testing,
with a large, well-bunkered
green. A pin set in the
front-right of the green
gives players headaches as
do the breezes that make
club selection difficult.
Every year, the 223-yard,
par 3 fifth plays over par.
Combined with No. 4,
these two holes could
erase any charge.

The par 5, 574-yard sixth
hole is the sandiest hole
on the PGA TOUR with 15
bunkers. Players must
drive past the big pine,
220 yards off the tee, to
the right-center of the
fairway. The green is
reachable in two for the
longer hitters. Those near
the top of the leaderboard
need to make birdie here.
