Hunter Mahan tied his best ever round on Thursday and held on to win at the
2007 Travelers Championship edging out Jay Williamson in extra holes.

Hunter, Not the Hunted
It has been nine years since Hunter Mahan first set eyes on TPC River
Highlands. In that time, he’s gone from a starry-eyed 17-year-old with aspirations
of a professional career on the PGA TOUR to one of its newest rising stars.

Travelers – Covering the Needs of the Community
Travelers has been doing business in Connecticut for nearly a century and a half,
and currently has more than 6,000 employees in the Greater Hartford area. The
company is well known for its support of community and non-profit organizations,
and its employees provide thousands of volunteer hours each year.

The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp
Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in
Ashford, Connecticut is a nonprofit, residential summer camp and year-round
center serving children and their families coping with cancer and other serious
illnesses and conditions. Through Camp programs, year-round outreach to
hospitals and clinics, and other services for children, families and caregivers,
the Camp serves more than 15,000 annually.
Travelers Championship Co-Charity:
The Greater Hartford Jaycees
The Greater Hartford Jaycees is a volunteer group of young men and women
ages 21 through 41 with a focus on leadership development through community
service. The Jaycees will utilize tournament proceeds to serve numerous, diverse
charitable organizations, as they have in their long-term relationship with the
tournament and the PGA TOUR.

The Travelers Championship and the PGA TOUR are proud to support Men's
Health Month, a national initiative in the month of June.
Azinger at the Helm
Hoping to light a spark in the American team, the PGA of America selected
the fiery Paul Azinger to captain the 2008 U.S. Ryder Cup team.

New Practice Facility Opens
After 15 months of construction, the movement of 200,000 cubic yards of
earth, the use of two tons of grass seed and contributions from numerous
partners, a new practice facility at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn.
has opened for play.
