• The Greater Hartford Jaycees has provided community service to Greater
Hartford cities and towns for more than 60 years.
• During the past 30 years, the Greater Hartford Jaycees has annually delivered
more than 3,000 turkeys and dinners at Thanksgiving to feed low-income
families in the community.
• The Greater Hartford Jaycees Foundation donates $35,000 every year and
provides 100 volunteers to bring HOBY (Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership
Seminar) to Connecticut, which offers 200 high school sophomores a
leadership development and training experience.
• Each spring, the Greater Hartford Jaycees Foundation awards approximately
$100,000 in college scholarships.
