Quail Hollow Club
It was once the largest dairy farm in North Carolina. It sprawled across
hills and valleys that were virtually treeless, out well beyond the reach
of Charlotte’s suburbs. There wasn’t much around there -- a church, a
butcher shop, a sawmill, a turkey farm and a few homes scattered here
and there.
