Happy to be Blue
He’s getting pretty good at having somebody else put a jacket on him. Usually it’s green. This
time it’s sapphire blue. And, somehow, he didn’t really mind about the color. This one is pretty
special, too.
Picture Perfect
Go ahead. Try and exaggerate his ability. Try and overstress his records. Try and amplify his
accomplishments. You can’t. Ben Hogan used to say he would let his club do the talkin’ in that
quietly curt, yet civil Texas accent. This guy doesn’t have to say anything. All you have to do is let
the numbers speak for themselves—in any language—in any dialect.

Strong Stuff
He’s hotter than a freshly thrown tire marble on a short track on a Saturday night. Amidst all the
commotion, bump drafting, trading paint and winning NASCAR’s top prize two years in a row,
what does a guy like Jimmie Johnson do to relax? Why, he plays golf, of course.
His is the voice of the Wachovia Championship and has been since the very first tee shot was
hit in the inaugural event held in 2003. Graeme Keith is the one with that glorious southern
gentlemanly voice who announces each player off the first tee, adding just another class element
to an event that has been noted by fans and players alike to be one of the premier events on the
PGA TOUR in a short period of time.
