Welcome to the 2008 Wachovia Championship!
On behalf of our Board, our staff and over 2,600 volunteers, we hope you have an
enjoyable experience at this year’s event.
We are excited about the sixth year of this PGA TOUR stop at the beautiful Quail Hollow Club.
We are very appreciative to the membership of Quail Hollow for sharing their club with us and in
turn, providing all of us the opportunity to once again see the best golfers in the world tested by
this wonderful golf course.
Teach For America is again the primary charitable beneficiary of the Wachovia Championship. We
are proud of expanding our partnership with this wonderful organization that is so committed to
improving public education throughout the country. Right here in Charlotte, we have over 120
Teach For America corps members in our Charlotte-Mecklenburg school system. We hope you will
take time to visit the Teach For America location near the first tee to learn more about their mission.
Each year we ask for your feedback in an effort to make succeeding years more enjoyable for our
patrons. This year is no exception. Based on your comments from last year we have made several
changes that we hope will add to your experience.
As in the past, a great deal of thought and effort has gone into making your Wachovia
Championship experience a memorable one. To continue this tradition of positive change in
